All I Want for Christmas is You!!!

I don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is...
You

I don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
You baby

I won't ask for much this Christmas
I don't even wish for snow
I'm just gonna keep on waiting
Underneath the mistletoe
I won't make a list and send it
To the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won't even stay awake to
Hear those magic reindeers click
'Cause I just want you here tonight
Holding on to me so tight
What more can I do
Baby all I want for Christmas is you
Ooh baby
All the lights are shining
So brightly everywhere
And the sound of children's
Laughter fills the air
And everyone is singing
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa won't you bring me the one I really need
Won't you please bring my baby to me...

Oh I don't want a lot for Christmas
This is all I'm asking for
I just want to see my baby
Standing right outside my door
Oh I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
Baby all I want for Christmas is...
You

All I want for Christmas is you... baby (repeat and fade)

I'm in LOVE with that song. It has been stuck in my head forever and I'm cool with it. That is probably my favorite Christmas song. I have been singing it like everyday...

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY:D

La la la...

I am so relieved. I got 2 test knocked out of the way already this week in Anatomy and Biology. Now I need to focus on my math quiz, AP test, the ACT, and finals. Ahhhhh... I'm so ready for Christmas Break. Let these 2 weeks be over. Glee is having their Christmas episode tonight. I am sure it will be ADORABLE... Yay... Oh yeah, my family has already gotten an early Christmas present. We got a flat screen tv. Talk about AMAZING:D I love it. The difference in color is phenominal. It looks like you are looking through a window. And tonight will be the first time I will get to see Glee in full HD. I'm excited... Who has to go the movies? I can just buy them and watch them at my house:) And I think I already know a gift I'm getting for Christmas. I might be getting a wii. Just Dance baby... all the time... Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year. I am sooooo thankful for everything I have. Happy Birthday Jesus:) Thanks for everything. Amen.

Left-Handers

Seriously why have left-handers been such a big issue all of the sudden? There's been left-handers for centuries. Now all you lefties out there while you are arguing with the haters, realize it's silly on your part wasting your time over this issue. You know your beast. Embrace your awesomeness!!! Who cares what others think? LEFT HANDERS RULE!!! END OF STORY, THANK YOU, GOOD BYE!!!!!

Fellow lefty,
            Abigail

Big Time Rush...

So who wants to admit they still watch Nickelodeon??? You know you do!!! I'll still admit I do. Spongebob, iCarly, Victorious, etc... I have a little sister too:) So, that's my excuse. Well, recently a new show was added called Big Time Rush. It's quite entertaining... It's really for any age. Well, they recently had a Christmas episode my little sister and I watched. Talk about ADORABLE:D I loved it. They can sing too which is a plus. Lately you have all these synthesized voices which is sooooo annoying. They're really cute too:D Yeah, anyway it was a really good episode and they had a lot of cute Christmas songs. I am actually jamming to them right now. Look them up on youtube. They had a lot of guest stars too. Miranda Cosgrove, Fabio, and Snoop Dog... Yeah... It was GREAT!!! So if you're watching Nickelodeon one day watch big time watch. Conclusion... I LOVE BIG TIME RUSH!!!

Christmas Lights

I love looking at Christmas lights during the holidays. It's always a tradition for my family and I. There is this one house at Stone Gate past Thruston Dermont Road. Oh my gosh... It looks like the fireworks at Disney World. It is AMAZING...

"Ohhh the weather outside is frightfullll, but the fiirree is soooo delightful and since we've no place to go Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow...

THE END:) I am very sidetracked today. Finals, ACT, tests, tests, tests...  ;p

Christmas Wish... Dream Come True...

Ever since I was 6 yrs old I have always wanted a cell phone. By 3rd/4th grade all my friends had gotten one for Christmas. In middle school EVERYONE had one. And in High School people took their cell phones for granted. I still did not have one:( My Mom always told me from the very first time I asked, I wasn't going to get a cell phone until I had a job. So you can assume I wasn't going to get one until I was 16 or older. Well, Christmas's were nice. I really was appreciative, but each year there was always a gift I knew I wasn't getting... Nevertheless, I had to be grateful. Christmas 2010 I got a porcelain doll, clothes, money, etc... The usual... 15 minutes later my mom brought out a plastic bag and told me "Here's the gift I think you really wanted." Well, that year I believe I wanted a Wii so I thought that could possibly be it. The bag was too little though. I had no idea what it was. Of Course it wasn't a cell phone... (Not until I get a job) I open the bag and look down to see a picture of a phone on a box. My jaw dropped open and my eyes widened. I couldn't believe it... Tears started to pour out of my eyes, I was so overwhelmed. I seriously was pinching myself thinking it was a dream. I think my favorite part was when I texted all my friends from my phone. All their replies were OH MY GOSH ARE YOU SERIOUS??? It was pretty funny:) I have to say I am probably the most deserving person receiving a cellphone. So next time you take your phone for granted, think about it. Some people don't get one until their 15 and a half yrs old. APPRECIATE YOUR CELL PHONE!!! It's a privilege.

What's going on????

Well, it's about time the blogger finally works. I really do LOVE blogging. I am not going to lie. You know though I wish our email would work:( Well, I don't know what's going on with the internet thing??? It's annoying me. I can get on my Mozilla browser but that is it. :(:(:( Well, I really don't have anything else to say... I am excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas:D

GORGEOUS Earth

WOW!!! From a far it's Amazing how beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil the Earth is. The picture of the transition from night to day is phenomenal. And at night time the world is so lit up like constellations in the sky. Seeing the photos makes one think how fortunate they are. We get to live in a world that BEAUTIFUL. Despite the natural disasters and devastating storms, Mother Nature has really done some wonders. Those pictures motivate me to be more conservative. After looking at the photos, how could one make the Earth one giant trash can??? Think about it...

Borrred...

Do you ever have those times where you know you could be doing something useful with your time but you choose not to? For example: Right now I am sitting in Anatomy class knowing I could be working on ACT prep,   reading chapters for A Push, or working on English homework. But you know what I really don't feel like it right now. Trimester is probably going to be a little hard for me because I'll be honest I procrastinate sometimes. Everyone does!!! You have those days where your just really exhausted and want a break. Really this year that is no excuse for me because I lightened my load because I couldn't handle it all. Well sort of. Classes are kind of hard this year. A PUSH /:( Oh well... And I'm looking for a job. Yeah I won't have room for excuses next year. Yikes. Hopefully the homework load will decrease. But yeah, just sitting here... I decided well I will get on my blog and follow a bunch more people, and think of something to blog about. Yep, that's all I have to say. :P

The Golden Girls

So I have kinda already written about what I'm thankful for. Whenever I watched that video that song "Thank you for being a friend" made me think of the Golden Girls. I LOVE that show. I used to watch it like all the time.
Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sophia
Dorothy was the strong, strict one. Rose was the gentle one. Blanche was the sassy one. And Sophia was the funny little granny. I LOVE them all. My parents got to see Dorothy in person. Pretty Cool:D
I'M THANKFUL FOR THE GOLDEN GIRLS:D

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. My ridiculously spread out family all come together and we all enjoy each others company. All of us cousins look forward to the presents. Since we don't get to see each other often we decide to do Christmas together as well. It is nice. We have our traditions. We have a HUGE Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone brings their usual dishes. My Aunt Nancy's doughy buttery rolls, my cousin Amanda's Italian cream cake, my Aunt Janie's divine pies, my Dad's cranberry chutney, my cousin Jennifer's watergate salad, and my Uncle Jim and Aunt Maria's tasty casseroles, stuffing, turkey, mashed potatoes... YUMMMY... I can't wait:D It is delicous. Next we try to burn off some calories even though we are so sick to our stomachs. We have had our annual Dunlop football game. Not the best idea our family has come up with. There have been many injuries. Seriously, I don't know if we will be trying it this year. Then presents come. We are all sooo happy with tons of things to play with, and afterwards the adults share some gifts. They play the dirty santa game. They bring good gifts and gag gifts. It is sooooo fun to watch. My cousin Amanda's gifts always look the best. She is an interior designer. Our family jokes that with her gifts we never want to unwrap them they are too pretty. And then after the gifts the cousins all put on a special performance. We have done dances, talent shows, and skits. The adults are always looking forward to see what next is up our sleeves. I am wondering if this year we might do something based of Harry Potter. DORKS... I know. Our whole family is obsessed with it. This will be the last Thanksgiving that Harry Potter is still playing:( Really sad... I don't know. But remember thanksgivng isn't about the food or the gifts. It's about enjoying each others company and be thankful for what you have. My Aunt Maria makes sure we don't forget that. We have done trees where we all got a leaf and put down what we are thankful for, and we have just discussed what we are thankful for. You realize you really are lucky. So when you enjoy this next Thanksgiving enjoy your family and count your blessings.
I am thankful for...
GOD
my family
my friends
our soldiers
my country
my house
my electronics
my school
my LIFE:D

Glee???

So I was really excited for Glee to start this season, but the episodes have been really wierd lately. The latest one (The Rocky Horror Picture Show) was really strange. I really thought it was gonna be good because I am familiar with the Rocky Horror Picture Show and it is kind of funny:) But no... It was really weird and awkward when the Touch Me song came on by Will and Emma and my mom had to come in the room on that scene. She said "Now I see why you watch that show!" Don't you hate it when you have the most awkward situations with you parents? Emma had ripped Will's shirt off and my mom thought you know what was going to happen. I am not that kind of girl at all. Yeah, but the most random episodes have came on week after week there really hasn't been any true drama you can follow along with yet. I hope it will get better:P

The Lemp Mansion

Over fall break I went to St. Louis to this really old historical mansion called the Lemp Mansion. It has a very haunting history. William Lemp was the man of the house who owned a Brewery way before Anheuser Busch. He had everything in the world, but one day depression hit him for some odd reason so he committed suicide. Long story short everyone in the family became depressed and everyone killed themselves. The Lemp Mansion still stands to this day and is preserved and well kept. You can eat there and even do a bed and breakfast. Never would I ever do a bed and breakfast there. Could you imagine? I have seen too many movies. Well, we had a nice lunch there, and usually because of the bed and breakfast you are not allowed to go upstairs. Apparently the people that were currently staying up there were away so it was open for people to roam around.  We were too excited:D A little nervous though... We would be entering the exact rooms where these people had committed suicide and still haunt the mansion to this day. The mansion was absolutely beautiful. All the rooms were so extravagant. These people had the best of the best. Encounters? YES... I have never believed in spooky, demon, ghoul kind of things. But I definitely believe in angels/spirits. When I was in the lavender room there were no vents, the windows were shut, and it was really warm and cozy. Whenever I walked passed her bed a very cold breeze nudged passed me. I tried to think logically thinking it might just be a draft in an old house, a fan somewhere or something. Nothing was there. I was kind of shook up afterwards. My little sister Madelyn was in a bathroom and I literally saw her go back like something had pushed her. Indeed it had. This was no kind of show or prank she was teasing me with. Dad had to carry her the rest of the way. You can definitely feel some kind of energy in that house. You have to be there to experience it. Workers there experience these kind of encounters all the time. They are used to it. I can't imagine. Here is a link to the website. You can read more about the history. http://www.lempmansion.com/

That is Elsa Lemp. Her room is known to be the most haunted in the house.

CARRIE:P

The SCARIEST movie I have ever seen HANDS DOWN is CARRIE. Her possessed stare is SOOOOOOOO CREEPY. And the part where her mother follows her with a knife is the scariest thing. My family has teased me with that scene so many times. It was not funny:( If this doesn't sound scary, let me show you:)

WATCH THE TRAILER IF YOU DARE!!!!

My Little Lady Bug is flying away.

I have a one year old little girl Lucy that I babysit. I am really close with her family. Her mother has known me since I was 6 yrs. old. She used to take me to the movies, buy me gifts, and treat me like her own daughter. She was single at the time when I first met her. She was my mother's coworker. Then her wonderful husband came along. They met, fell in love, and had a beautiful baby girl named Lucy. I was told yesterday that Lucy's father got offered a better job and therefore the whole family was moving to North Carolina. I was really crushed. It's seems like only yesterday I was holding Lucy in my arms at the hospital watching her sweet little face look back at me with a yellow bow in her hair. She is very dear to my heart. I watched her grow, say her first words, and walk. It's really hard for me to let her go. I feel like she is my kid. I have also had some great moments with her parents. Her mother left her job and went to school to become a nurse. And here she is now with her nursing degree. The whole family is such an inspiration to me. Lucy's father is as sweet as can be. She is definitely a daddy's girl:) I try to remind myself that people come and go and before I know it I will have my own future ahead of me. It is just hard. I hope to visit them sometime or they will come visit. I will miss them:(
P.S. Listen to end of may by Michael Buble. It is a really inspiring song whether you are happy or sad.

Ready for Fall Break!!! :p

It amazes me how stressful the weeks before breaks can be. Teachers want to squeeze in the last of their plans for the nine weeks. It can be excessive:p You have essays, quizzes, tests, and books you have to read. Uggghhh... 3 more days... That is what I tell myself. 3 more days and this madness will end. I'm excited for fall break. I get to go to St. Louis:D St. Louis has sooooooo much to do. We have been there so many times and we still to this day find new things to do. That's pretty much my family's second home. I'm just happy that I am going somewhere where I can leave everything at home and not worry about having a schedule. And I get to see the arch. That's a plus:)

Four Day Week:D

I am sooooooo happy that this is a four day week. I have been soooooooooooo tired:p Hopefully I can catch up on some Z's. It seems like everyone has been tired. I think it is the fact that some people have jobs now and we are just getting older and older. I feel like a need an extra boost sometimes. Maybe I will start drinking coffee? Mmmmm.... A Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha with vanilla sounds sooooooooooo GOOD right now.

I apologize another random story. I should have a good one next time:D :D ;D

Tyler's Power Ranger Shirt

Tyler's Power Ranger shirt has 5 power rangers on it. (yellow, black, blue, red, and pink) Today was decade day. I am really not sure what decade he is but his shirt is pretty cool.
Power Rangers Burst TeeKind of like this one:)
Yeah, I did not know what to write about today:/ Tyler gave me the idea. haha...

Michael Bieber

hahaha... Be sure to watch the premiere of the music video "Hollywood" Monday:)

Hopeful

Right now I feel that I am on a pretty good path. It just scares me how fast I am traveling on it. Right now I am already looking at colleges. I am trying to decide what classes I want to take next year. I'm looking for scholarship opportunities. It is SOOOOO STRESSFUL. Ever since I was 2 I have dreamed of going into the medical field. My enthusiasm is still just as strong, but I can't believe it's here. Next year I am a senior. Ahhhhh... Is this really happening to me? I really wish everything would slow down. Oh how great it would be to be 6 again. I would have nothing to stress about. I could just enjoy being a kid. :)

Schedules Schedules Schedules!

It's Amazing all the different schedules we have this school year. Each day I'm always wondering what class I'm supposed to be going to. We have a Flex Friday Schedule, CAP Schedule, 1 hour delay schedule, 2 hour delay schedule, and a Early Release Friday Schedule. It's CRAZINESS. I think it makes me even more exhausted than what I usually am. I'm not so much complaining about it, I'm just saying it can be like a never ending vortex. You don't know where you'll end up.

P.S. Mrs. Matthews I loved the similies you shared with us. They were GENIOUS!!!

Double Science!!! HEAVEN...

On white days I get to have Anatomy and Physiology first period and Biology second. It is a blast!!! I have Mr. Hahus for 2 periods so that's a plus. I think he thinks I'm crazy though for my scary enthuisiasm EVERY class. Yeah I'm a nerd. haha... I love science though. It is soooooo much fun!!! Whether it's Chemistry, Physcis, Biology, or Health Sciences? It doesn't matter. It's AWESOME!!!!!!!! I love all the labs. And I even enjoy taking tests and quizzes. When something isn't assigned for homework I do it anyway. That's how much I love it. We do this thing in Anatomy where we are assigned a medical term and have to research it and present it to the class. Most everyone had a piece a paper and read a little bit of information on their topic to the class. No sir... When I was assigned a medical term, I did an extensive powerpoint. Well someone is fixing to present:) I have to go.

Great Party! Tons of Injuries!

So this past Friday my friend Ellison had a party at her house. There was a slippin slide, bonfire, games, etc... It was a lot of fun. There was only one issue. About half the people at the party got hurt. When my mom was driving me to her house she saw her 100 ft. slippin slide and warned me that I better not get hurt. It was said my mother wasn't the only one that warned me about that. Other moms were worried too. Seriously, live life to the fullest!!! Anyway all the moms that warned their kids not to get hurt ended up getting hurt. How ironic? Yeah, I think my injury was the worst. I was going down the slippin slide with my friend Christina and there was a hole in the tarp. My finger got caught in that hole and I caught myself on it. Let me tell you my finger was soooooooooo bruised. Everyone freaked out thinking it was broken. I think it was the color that scared them. I know my own body better than anyone else does. But you never know it could be broken. I am not for sure. I still think I just jammed it. It still kinda hurts as I'm typing this. haha... Gosh!!! Yeah, my friend Graham got this big blood bruise on his hip, and Derek got one in a spot that I'd rather not share with you. Then Ellie's friend Gracie was running to base from playing Hide and Go Seek and tripped over some gravel and slammed onto the garage floor. Poor thing... I think she's ok though. And poor Ellie, she got stung by wasps 5 times, and cut her knee really bad from a tractor. CRAZY HUH??? Yeah everyone had some kind of cut or bruise. Some more worse than others. Despite the injuries I think everyone had a good time. lol...

An AWESOME weekend...

I went camping this weekend at Diamond Lake and it was sooooooooo much fun!!! A car show was going on so there was some pretty sweet rides there. My family/friend Delores had recently bought a brand new cherry red, 2010, dual exhaust mustang. She didn't put it in the car show, but drove it there to visit us. My family and I had never been in her car before so Delores thought she would take us for a ride around the campsite. The hood was down and we were jamming to ACDC. Talk about AWESOME:) Everyone was staring at us. Why wouldn't they? We looked pretty hott in that car. LOL... Well, we had made it round  the lake and Delores asked if I wanted to drive. I chuckled and said yeah knowing she was kidding. Then she pulled over, stopped the car, and said here lets trade spots. Oh my gosh!!! She had to be kidding me. I have only had my permit for about two months. Why would someone let a newbie drive an amazing ride like that? She was serious. I hopped in seriously shaking hoping I wouldn't scratch it, but I have to say it was a blast. I felt like a million bucks:) I still can't get over that she let me drive that thing. Yeah, then we had some great cooking. I ate some home made German Chocolate Cake. Mmmmm... That's my favorite kind. We drove around the site a lot in the mule. (It's like a golf cart/tractor thing.) That was funnn... And then we swam a lot:) Pretty fun weekend if you ask me:D Yeah, but as I write this I am soooooooooo EXHAUSTED. It's a Monday of course. Oh well today is my little sis's birthday so this evening should be fun:D

Buble WINNER!!!

On the Michael Buble website there was a post where you could send him a birthday card. This was a national thing. (Canada, North America, South America, and Europe) Anyway they said that every month or so they would pick a random card out of a package of cards sent, and if they chose yours they would send you a special gift. GET THIS... So I come home from school Friday evening and see an interesting package on the table. It had this strange address that I wasn't familar with. I flip the package over and on the back I see they words: WINNER!!! MB Birthday Card... OH MY GOSH!!!! I am flipping out. I rip it open and see an AUTOGRAPHED MICHAEL BUBLE PHOTO ALBUM WITH PERSONAL PHOTOS FROM HIS WORLD TOUR. Talk about CRAZY... I was seriously screaming and crying. I cannot believe what was before my very eyes. Who gets lucky like that. My parents said they should take me to the horse races with the luck a have and bid on a big one. Talk about an exciting moment. I was sooooooooo thrilled.  :D

Intro Summer Break

Hello Everyone! I'm Abigail. My blog will mostly consist of happy stories, my love for Michael Buble, and random thoughts. I had one of the most memorable summers of my life. It involved fun in the sun, an AWESOME Sweet 16, and hanging out with family and friends. So I had my SWEET 16th birthday in June, and my Aunt took me to a Michael Bublé concert at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Talk about AMMMAAAAZZZZZIIINNNGG:) For those of you that don't know Michael Bublé is my favorite singer EVER!!!! It was my dream to go to one of his concerts someday. He usually performs in Canada (he is British Columbian), South America (that's where his girlfriend is from : p), and in Europe. Hardly does he ever perform in the U.S. When I found out he was having a 2009-2010 Crazy Love Tour in the US I just had to go. Luckily my Aunt came along and took me with her. The concert was AWESOME, and he was PHENOMINAL. He performed 20 of his greatest songs and the concert lasted for 3 hours. Talk about HEAVEN:) You're probably wondering if I got to meet him. No. That was a little disappointing but I got something even better. That's another story I will post later. It was GREAT though. We had ROCKING seats and there was a time when I was three rows back from him. At the concert he gave me a shout out saying there was a 16 yr old little cutie's birthday in the audience. I seriously thought I was dreaming. I  was speechless. Anyway on to the next thing, I know you're getting tired. I could go on and on about him. haha... Well along with that present I got my permit. That was a cool gift. I LOVE to drive. Seriously DRIVING IS FREEDOM!!! I think a permit is kind of a tease though because you have to drive with a parent. I LOVE my parents and all, don't get me wrong, but sometimes you'll want to go somewhere and your parent won't want to. That's annoying. You want to go when you want to and not rely on someone to be with you. 5 more months!!! Woo hoo... Man, it's going by soooo slow. I hung out with my best friend Marissa a bunch this summer. We had soooo much fun. We went and saw Legally Blonde the musical. Great Play!!! And then saw movies and things like that. I am really going to miss her. She is going this year to a music academy called Interlochen. It is a school for the truly gifted musicians. It's like a mini julliard. She deserves to be there. She really is TALENTED. I'm just going to miss her. My friend Jacob is too. He will also be missed. Well... You can see I had a pretty FUN filled summer with even more stories than that. Yeah, I don't think my stories will ever bore you. Crazy things happen to me all the time. Random right? Anyway my computer time is up. Chow for now.
