I have definitely enjoyed blogging this year. Don't get me wrong as time has gone by it has gotten kind of dull and boring, but it has been fun:) I loved how I could write about whatever I wanted and the world could see. Will I blog after this year??? Probably not... Who knows though??? I might. I'd like to thank my loyal followers for making me feel like someone actually was interested in my life. New Digital Camera:D

My digital camera had broke a while back, and I was freaking out because I needed (ok wanted, nope needed) one for prom. With Prom being REALLY EXPENSIVE and all I thought I wasn't going to be able to get one, but come to find out I've been working a lot of hours and had some money to buy one. I looked at the online ads and happened to see one at Walmart for real cheap that matched my dress. Awesome Right??? Nope... I went to Walmart (Flood Day) and it was sold out. :( They said there weren't going to be anymore in for another two weeks. Prom was in a couple days. I was not going to wait. So, I decided to go to Best Buy... I saw this blue sapphire camera I really liked that was better than the one I was originally going to get, but my little sis convinced me we should look at Target just in case. I looked and I didn't see anything. So I went back to Best Buy, and decided I would get the pretty blue sapphire camera. Well there were 3 cameras left and the box told me that they were this ugly orange color. I wanted the one that matched my eyes:) Well, I asked the sales associate if they had the blue sapphire one and after making her go to a lot of trouble she said that was all they had. I decided to take the ugly orange one. It was going to clash so bad with my dress. (Purple and Orange:p) I needed a camera, but before I made my purchase the lady came, opened up my box, and inside was a blue sapphire digital camera. It had been put in the wrong box. It was my lucky day:) My camera has like picnik on it. You can soften the photo, change the lens, change the scenes, etc... It even had an indicator on it where if it senses someone smiling it will snap a picture. It is amazing... I made a great purchase:D I LOVE my camera, and I cannot wait til prom:)

Skip Its, Scooters, and Clubhouses

 

Who didn't love to make clubhouses out of cardboard boxes? It was great:) You would make little windows, a door, and then you would have a list of club members inside the house. Your friends would have to have a password to get in... It was an amazing way to use your imagination:)

Skip It was a toy you would put around your ankle and see how many times you could skip over it. It even had a little thing that would count the number of skips for you. My neighbors and I would have contests. It was a blast:)

I also loved to ride my scooter. I loved to race with friends:)

The Royal Wedding.

I must say the Royal Wedding was absolutely beautiful:) I wanted to wake up at 4 AM, but then I thought I have to work 4-10 tonight so I passed. I got to see a good portion of it this morning though. It was funny I was longing to watch the royal kiss before I went to school, but the news said it wouldn't happen for another hour. I was bummed. When I got to school though I found a LIVE webcast on my laptop of the wedding and realized I would get to watch the kiss:) Well, after 15 minutes of waiting the camera zoomed to the balcony, for the royals were fixing to walk out. I freaked out and called my friends Marley and Alex to come look. As soon as they came over the video paused on me. I was flipping out. I waited this long I was going to see that kiss. I decided to exit out and refresh. Luckily when the video reloaded William, Kate, and their families were standing on the balcony waving to their people.And then smooch... It really wasn't a smooch it was a peck. I went to soooo much trouble for that. I was kind of upset. They kissed for like 1 second. I would of thought they would of held it for at least 3 or more. Well, sitting there stunned Prince William gave her a second smooch longer than the first. It was soooooo romantic:) I was relieved I got what I wanted. This wedding is definitely a moment in history and will never be forgotten. I sure wish Princess Diana could of witnessed this wonderful occasion. I'm sure she did smiling down on them from heaven. Kate's dress was soooooo beautiful. She truly looked like a princess. I wanted to wear a tiara today in celebration of the wedding. haha:) Prince William looked handsomer than ever. They are such a beautiful couple. Yeah, now sitting in study hall I just finished watching the royal wedding ceremony. It was a fairytale. Every bride would dream of a wedding like that. But yes... Conclusion. As Mary Poppins would say "Practically Perfect in Every Way" :)

Seaside Serenade

Wanna know why the prom theme is Seaside Serenade???


Because... Michael Buble is going to serenade me at prom... No, I doubt it... But, how cool would that be??? It would be AMAZING:D I'm sure it would be a prom no one would forget... Random thought... HA!!! You can say my heads in the clouds, but those who have dreamed the most have become most successful. Think about it. 

Foo Fighters or Nirvana???

So my manager Byron at work asked me the obvious question "Which band was better?" "Foo Fighters or Nirvana?" Of Course Foo Fighters is better!!!!! But poor poor Byron... He thinks Nirvana is better. How sad is that? :( Feel free to comment your opinion... I'd love to know. Yeah, yesterday at work there happened to be on the radio a foo fighters marathon because of a movie that is coming out. Talk about Heaven for my boss Jay and I.:D We were jamming it up. And Byron... He was miserable. hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.... It was GREAT!!!!! Yeah, Jay and I would mess with him cheering and constantly saying "Don't you love this song?" And Byron... He would just give us dirty looks. Fun day at work last night:)

Back to School...

So, Spring Break is over:( I'm not really excited to be back to school, but oh well... School is almost over:) Spring Break was nice!!! I loved not going to school for a week. I worked, took a college visit to UK, tanned (can't tell) haha..., hung out with friends, spent time with family, and relaxed. I was kind of bummed. The weather wasn't very pretty:( Yeah, I was hoping to go to the beach or whatever, but I will get to look forward to that fall break:) Can't wait!!!!! :D But yeah, it's a Monday... I just want to go home and take a nap. Yeah, I did some Spring Cleaning yesterday, and then I had to work. That was a very tiresome day. Is tiresome a word??? Idk... Can't believe prom will be here soon. I can't wait!!! It's soooo stressful though. still no date... I said it would be fun to go with friends in the last post, but as far as I know like everyone has a date so I kind of want one now. Maybe I can just go with a guy as friends. Idk... I will have to think of someone to ask... Uggghhhh... Why does prom have to be so stressful??? I have to schedule a hair appointment too. Well... Listening to Michael Buble... Blogging... I guess that's all I have to say:) Oh, my cousin from Reno, Nevada is flying in for the weekend. I am excited to see her:) Chow for now...

Prom

I can't believe prom is already around the corner. Everyone has been talking about it since the beginning of the year, and now it will be here in like a month. That month is gonna fly by. Yep, hopefully over spring break if it's warm I can tan. Everyone has been going to the tanning bed, and if I were to go I would burn in like 5 minutes. No joke. So, I will lay outside in 15 minute intervals, get sun burned, heal, and then have a nice sun kissed glow. haha... Yeah, Spring Break will also be a good time to shape up. I'll probably go running, do ab workouts, eat healthier, etc. If I stay consistent by a month it will show. Nothing like Insanity or whatever, but you can be toned up and keep the curves. But yeah, I am excited:) I have my dress, accessories, etc. I'm ready:) And whether I go with a date or friends, prom is still going to be a blast. Can't Wait:) P.S. I wish student council would tell us the theme already. I just want to know. We're going find out eventually whether it's a secret or not. 2 days til Spring Break!!! Woo hoo:D I'm excited!!!!!!  

Chocolate Pie

So I was very pleased with everyone's reaction to my chocolate pie. It went better than I thought. I'll be honest I was a little nervous with how it was going to turn out. It is not often that I get to make a chocolate pie. But, yeah it was a success:) So, I shared with the class that I might put the recipe online, but after thinking about it, it was my Great Grandmother's (Mammy), and I really don't know how she would feel about  it:( So, I decided to not post the recipe online. I'll keep it a secret. For my family's sake... But yeah, if you want some more of that yummy deliciousness let me know. Whether it's a birthday, hangout, whatever... I had a blast making it. Believe it or not that's how every single one of my Grandma's recipes taste. Every single recipe is heaven. If you saw the list of cakes, pies, candies, bars, etc, you would go bananas. There are so many good things to pick from. She is the best cook ever. Cooking Party at My House!!!!!!

Spring Break. Can't Wait!!!

I am soooooo ready for spring break. This 3rd nine weeks has had its ups and downs, but it's finally finished. It's a new term, and a time to redeem myself. Will I being doing anything for Spring Break? No, not really... Maybe just take a few little day trips or something, and I have to work. Nevertheless, I am happy to be off. Probably gonna catch up on some z's, hang with friends, etc...It will be really nice:) I'm really happy today:D I get my first paycheck. Gonna have some moolah... No not really:) haha... I'm only going take out $20 and then I am gonna put the rest in the bank. Yeah, I really need a car. And the quicker I save, the quicker I'll get one. Now you're probably thinking, "There's no way you are gonna get a car this year.". My parents will help me some:) It's all good. Yeah, then my best friend Marissa is home from Interlochen:) I will get to hang out with her this afternoon. I'm looking forward to it. Busy week. But a GREAT DAY:)

Life isn't always Rainbows and Unicorns

I am one of those people who always try to have an optimistic outlook on life. My blog says it all. It's just sometimes, life can't always be that way. You try your best each and every day; some days better than others. Sometimes your good is not good enough. Sometimes there are obstacles that come your way that you cannot achieve. You can overcome them and move on, but you don't always achieve them. There's times where I want everything to fall perfectly as planned. Actually that's all the time. Don't you wish there was nothing to worry about? Don't you wish everything could just work out for you? But what if that was true? Would you have a story to tell? Going through obstacles and struggles in life builds your character. It teaches you lessons that would have never crossed your mind.It teaches you lessons that can be shared with those you love. But still... Life can be frustrating. When something does not work out your way you get upset. That is completely normal. That's life. We hold our heads as high as they'll let us. Life isn't always rainbows and unicorns.

So sitting in English. Just finished my Maya Angelou Adversity essay:) I am very happy to have that over with. I'm listening to "Daughters" by John Mayer. Love that song. "It's Friday It's Friday!!!" Yeah I'll stop. haha... I have to go to work. I hope it goes by fast. I'm kind of tired. No I am tired. I have to get a cavity filled tomorrow morning:p I'm not looking foward to that. But then I am just gonna chill. Maybe hang out at a friends house. Idk... But, yeah I am content:)

Ahhh...Relaxation

Relaxation is absolutely wonderful:) My ideas of relaxation are chilling in my pj's, watching some wholesome reality tv, listening to music (Michael Buble), tanning outside while listening to music, surfing the internet, reading my bible, taking a nap, taking a long shower/bath, etc, etc, etc... Ahhhhhh.... anything that does not require much thinking... Relaxing puts me in a very happy place:)

Happy St. Patricks Day!!!

Honestly, I believe whether you wear green or not you are still going to get pinched. Some people like St. Patty's Day just to pinch people regardless of what color they have on. That is cruel... Yep, I'm not wearing green today. And yessss I'm getting plenty of pinching... Whatever... I really don't care. I had a dream last night that I got a sage green old fashioned car for St. Patrick's Day. Did that dream come true??? Nope:) I'll have to keep saving and dreaming. Oh well... I'm in a care-free mood today. The nine weeks is over and I am happy with that:) Tomorrow is Friday!!!! Woo hoo!!!!! Here is what the car looked like:

I think people notice my optimistic attitude. We are all beautiful creations of God, and each have many talents. There is a fine line between having good self-esteem and being prideful. But, seriously love yourself every once in a while:) You are beautiful.

I LOVE my Job!!!

So, I went to work for the first time yesterday and it was a blast!!! I'm gonna admit I was a little nervous. First days for anything is always kind of nerve-racking. Well, anyway I go and get a tour of the place, start making bread sticks and I am already a complete success. I even got compliments:) Who gets compliments on their first day??? But, I am not perfect there are still things I will need to work on, improve, and learn. I did so many things in one night. I made bread sticks, pepperoni ed pizzas, olive oiled pans, buttered pans, wipe out pans, washed pans, prepped dough, took out the trash, made sauce, stored stuff... Basically, almost everything you can do in a pizza place. And my boss is great:) He is really friendly and a jokester. haha... And I like my coworkers so far, they all seem pretty nice. So, overall I have a great work environment... and... Oh yeah... There is this machine thing that you put dough in and it rolls it out. That is the coolest machine ever, and soooooo much fun to use haha...But anyway... Conclusion... I love my job, and I cannot wait to go back:D Come to Little Caesars!!!   

Evaporation, Condensation, Procrastination Everyday!!!

Typical life of a high schooler...

Some days kids have Evaporated (full of energy, super bubbly, ready to start the day)
Then we have days when we condensate (sluggish, tired, want to go home)
And then there is times where we procrastinate (wait to do homework, projects, etc)

This is called the High School Cycle and it happens all the time!

So not a good way to start off the week... I got a dm for being tardy to class:( My stomach is churning right now. I am very ocd about having good grades, no marks, etc... You get the picture. But now everything is thrown out of wack:p Yeah, I am not complaining it was my fault, but as people would say I am Abigail Dunlop I do not get dms. Oh well I don't need to stress, I just need to go to detention hall in the morning and work it off. Detention hall:( I am such a bad person. Well at least I can redeem myself and get rid of that mark. Everything will be ok I just need to chill. Yeah, I can't chill. I will DEFINITELY learn my lesson. :`( :(:(:(:(:(

All Shook Up

Do you ever have those days where you get super excited for something and then it ends up being a let down? I had one of those days yesterday. I won't state the situation, but yeah that happens all the time. It happens to everyone. Whether it may be getting pumped up for a play/movie, or making up a relationship in your head that would never occur? It happens. You just have to let things brush off your shoulders and move on with your life. If you let one situation bring you down, you're going to miss out on all the rest of the good things in life. There will be countless happy moments in your life. Whether it may be graduating high school/college, getting a career, meeting the love of your life, raising a family... God is great and has a plan for each and every one of you. You just have to have faith and listen, and everything will fall into place. Possibly not on your schedule, but it will happen:) So, if you are ever feeling down just hold your head up high and know that things are going to be okay:D All of you are beautiful individuals with special talents created by the Lord and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Venting...

So I am kind of overwhelmed right now... Soooo many things to think about...
1.ACT (I need to be practicing eprep, prepme, etc... EVERYTHING I CAN DO TO GET A BETTER SCORE)
2.AP U.S. History Exam (It would be really cool if I could pass that thing so I don't have to take a million AP classes next year and put myself into a coma)
3.Trimester Schedule (New Schedule... Enough said...)
4.Grades/GPA (I need to keep my grades up so I can have a high GPA)
5.Job(I start soon, and I hope I don't become over exhausted. I should be fine hopefully.)
6.Orchestra Festival (I am a first violin and a lot is expected of me. The music is kind of hard. Not gonna lie)
7.Prom (I want to fit into that dress, so I need to watch what I am eating because it fits like a glove and I hope I can take off work)
8.College Prep (I have in mind a few colleges I want to go to, I just need to make some visits and things)
9. Saving the Moolah (I really want a car and the more money I put in the bank the quicker I will get one, I cannot wait:()

Conclusion... I am ready for summer break... I need to relax... I want all this stress to leave me.

I got a Job:)

After months and months of job searching, I finally got a job:) I work at Little Caesars, and I am super excited!!!!! As far as I know the interview went well. I was so nervous I honestly don't remember what I said in the interview. haha... But, yeah I like my manager really well, and I am friends with most of the coworkers. I think it will be fun. Little Caesars has a great atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. I am so honored to be apart of the team:) I can't wait:D

Many people have mixed feelings about Justin Bieber. Some guys say he is ridiculous, but then again I think they are jealous because many girls are obsessed with him. Then some people choose not to like him just to be in that club, but deep down inside they have feelings for him. I will tell you right now, I like Justin Bieber. I think he is a great dancer and is pretty beastly at all the instruments he can play. And the way his hair does that flippy thing is soooo cute. He is absolutely ADORABLE:) And tonight on glee there will be a Justin Bieber episode. Sam is gonna be Bieber. And he is perfect for that role because he is soooo attractive and his hair can do that flippy thing like Justin's. So yeah conclusion... I love Justin Bieber, and Michael Buble I still love you too:)

Valentine's Day

I disagree with Valentine's Day. There should not be a day where you have to prove your love to someone. You should love that someone everyday. Materialism does not buy love. Just be kind and loving to the person each and everyday. Now it is cute to do something special like give your Valentine a bouquet of flowers or something but be spontaneous. Don't wait til Valentine's Day. Conclusion... Valentine's Day should be everyday!!!

Kitty Tests:p

In Anatomy not only do you get to dissect cats, but you have to be tested over them too. It's kind of tricky. You have a test over the muscles, circulation, and urogenital/reproductive system. So far we have taken two tests. I don't know what it is but when it comes to those tests my mind goes completely blank. There are three pins per cat and you have to figure out what those parts are. I am hoping the circulation test will be easier:) But today we got to take all the insides out. It was fun:) I will stop at that. Chow.

Yep, pretty disappointed about the Super Bowl:( Sadly, my mommy, daddy, and sister were Green Bay fans:p Steelers still rule!!! The game was pretty close...

FCA

In about 3 minutes I am going to head to the auditorium for FCA. It's really sad, with all the snow days we haven't had an FCA in forever. But, I am excited to go back:) Yep. Singing... Worship... Donuts... It is the place to be. So if you get here in the morning before 7:30. Come on down to FCA. Everyone is welcome.

So today was supposed to be Paff Day for Blue Day kids and it was, it was just very disappointing. Like hardly no one dressed up. Maybe like 5 of us... But yeah, Paff looked very nice today. He had a lavenderish purple buttoned down shirt with a dark purple tie, grey slacks and black shoes, and a black belt. He looked very nice. Yep, and then we totally Paffatized his dry erase board. Greasy Mess:p

Just dissected some more on my pretty kitty Victoria. I am kind of getting tired and digusted. She is a greasy mess because she is sooooo fat, and it is a job getting all the fat out of her. She is soooooo greasy that her fluid is seeping from my gloves and soaking on my hands. Uggghhh... I can barely find any of her organs because of all the fat. Don't get me wrong I still love her, and dissecting her is tons of fun but sometimes I get annoyed. I will get over it. I am just ready to get all her organs out, see how long the small intestine will stretch, and preserve the brain. She will be missed though when it is all said and done. Conclusion... Victoria I still love you.
P.S. I saved everyone from pictures. It is pretty gross. I think I am going to lay off fast food for a while.

I feel sooooooo dumb right now. So I clicked on the tab where you can view your complete profile and I noticed to the side there was a user activity tab where it showed the number of times I viewed MY OWN profile. Well, I did not know that at first. I was convinced it was the number of times other people had viewed my profile. Of Course you don't have to follow someones blog to see it. Everyone can admit they view other people's blogs besides the ones they follow. I do... Well, anyway I am bragging to my Mom, "HEY MOM! 28 PEOPLE HAVE LOOKED AT MY PROFILE:D" "I MUST BE POPULAR!" Nintendo Wii

Ever since I got a wii last Christmas I have been the happiest girl alive:) There are two games on there I absolutely love. Just Dance 2 and Glee Karaoke baby!!!!! Glee Karaoke is absolutely amazing because it's GLEE of course:D I know like all the songs on there, and even though I can't sing I have the BEST time. The game tells me I'm a rock star. haha:) Then Just Dance 2 has to be my ultimate favorite. Well, one I love to dance! Yep, I really miss it... :( And two I love to dance. lol... Yeah, my favorite dances on there have to be "Jai Ho" by the Pussycat Dolls, "Body Moving" by Fatboy Slim, "Crazy in Love" by Beyonce, "Rasputin"... Yeah, pretty much all of them. Yeah, Conclusion... I like to sing and I like to dance:D

How have I been lately?

So snow days came around and that was tons of fun:) I went over to a friend's house to play in the snow, play the wii, and take a zillion pictures. NOT KIDDING:) haha... Yep, and that was the first time I went sledding. It was pretty Awesome!!! Then I found out that my Grandpa had passed away. Yeah, I felt so bad for my Mom. I wasn't used to seeing her mope around. Luckily she took a few days off work to have to herself and clear her mind. Really I wasn't that close to my grandpa. I still was sad though. Still looking for a job haven't had any luck yet:( I'm still trying and grabbing all the applications I can find. And without a job money has been such an issue lately. I have to pay for my cell phone bill every month. (even though I don't have a job) Yep, I got a phone for Christmas and my parents said, "You just need to pay the bill every month:)) Seriously???? Whatever... Yeah, well anyway no one has called to babysit me in a while so I am kind of broke which is not cool at all. Therefore, I do not have my phone this month. Well, I didn't at the time, but then I convinced my parents that it would be a great Valentine's Day present if I could get a phone card, so they agreed to it. I am soooo happy. But February, I am on my own. Dang I need a job! :( Yeah, then I am totally thrilled for prom. I have picked out over a hundred dresses online that I would love to have. My Mom is being nice and is going to buy me one even though she thinks one should go to prom their senior year. Nah... Yep, I have had some good times this year and not so good times, but I am pulling through. I kind of was hoping for a few more snow days. Even though I don't want to go to school any longer than already planned. May 31st is our last day... :P

Bublé lately. And my blog is titled "Optimism, Buble, Everyday..." Well Michael Buble is getting married April 6th. Not excited:P There is your Michael Buble news.
